My Autobiography

Hi my name is Carlos Runque.

I'm 21 years and I'm from Venezuela. I was born on May19, 1997. My parents are from Venezuela and they came to live with me here in Santiago de Chile. My dad is a chef and he works at his Venezuelan food restaurant, and my mom is a housewife and she manages the family business.

I studied all my primary and secondary education in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state in Venezuela, I completed my secondary education in 2014, the year in which I began to study architecture at the Rafael Urdaneta University in the same city. Two years later since I started university, I decided to came to Santiago de Chile to continue studying architecture at Universidad de Chile.

Since I was a child I have enjoyed traveling around the world and learning about different cultures. I have had the opportunity to visit several cities around the world. One of my favorite things is to know about the gastronomy of other countries, watch series and movies. One of my hobbies is editing and showing videos, I like everything that has to do with the audiovisual area.

Currently besides studying architecture, I hold a position within a contemporary Christian church, in which I am in charge of the visual area, specifically the projection of videos and editing of funds.

Hi evereyone! My favorite music album is from Shawn Mendes. A 20 year old Canadian singer. From the beginning to the moment he has become a famous singer, because his lyrics are great and he is also my favorite artist . Shawn currently has three albums, the first is called Manuscript (2015), the second and my favorite is called Illuminate (2016) and the third and last so far also bears the same name as the singer Shawn Mendes (2018). My Favourite Place in Chile

Hi everyone! My favorite place in Chile is hill San Cristobal, I like it because in that place I can find a bit of peace and tranquility in the middle of a city as noisy as Santiago. Also I can have contact with nature for a while, since day by day I find myself surrounded by a lot of concrete. I go to the hill every weekend, unless I can not for reasons of the university, although I try to organize my time to go. I love being in that place, there I can do many things that I like like exercise and contemplate the beauty of nature, besides being able to take some time to meditate and relax. When I climbed the hill for the first time, I remember being super tired since I was not used to climb a hill, the city where I come from is almost at sea level, when I reach the top of the hill and see the beautiful view it gave me, I knew that this would be my favorite place. I love the city and nature, what better place than one where I can contemplate them both.

My Favourite Piece of Technology

Hi people! I consider myself a true fan of technology, and of course I could not live without it, I feel that with this life is much simpler and more effective. I usually have my phone with me, of which I consider myself absolutely dependent. My favourite piece of technology is my tablet, from the day it was given to me I take it with me everywhere. my parents gave it to me three years ago for Christmas, they thought it was unnecessary because I had my laptop and my phone, but my laptop was too big to take it everywhere and my phone was too small to watch my favorite series, read books and play the video games that I like so much. The tablet is the right size to do the things that I like the most and the best thing is that everything it’s in a single device. My life without it would not be as great as it is now, I do not say I could not live without it but nothing would be the same, I consider it part of me and with it everything is simpler.
